01 - About the WFF Startup Innovation Awards powered by Extreme Tech Challenge

The WFF Startup Innovation Awards are a global startup competition established to support and showcase innovators and entrepreneurs who are harnessing the power of technology to drive the sustainable transformation of agrifood systems in support of ending global hunger and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The Startup Innovation Awards are organized by XTC, the world’s largest startup competition and ecosystem for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges within four betters: Better Production, Better Nutrition, Better Environment and Better life. Within this competition, we aim to have one overall winner as well as one winner for each Better.

02 - Why should you join our mission?

By supporting the Startup Innovation awards, you will not only support the next generation of ambitious innovators, but also receive high-quality, technological solutions to actual challenges. Your support will connect your brand to supporting solutions to address food security, the climate crisis and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. You will be able to nominate evaluators and jury members to join the Startup Innovation Awards. Finally, you will join the World Food Forum network as a cooperation partner and receive recognition and promotion through the WFF’s marketing channels, as well as a special invitation to the 2023 WFF flagship event at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.
