“Sora no Sato” initiative

This video introduces the initiative created by “Sora no Sato”, which aim to pass on food, agriculture, and lifestyle culture in the Nishi-Awa area of Tokushima, a region with a declining birthrate and aging population.

In order to increase the number of immigrants and farmers in the area and to sustain the community by turning agriculture into a business, the project includes teaching food and farming culture to students on educational trips from city schools and to local children.
