Mr. Gerald Barekye is a farmer, researcher and youth mobilizer in Uganda. After completing his studies, he started a youth-led policy advocacy organization, the Centre for Environmental Research and Agriculture innovations (CERAI), to organize and push the agenda for sustainability in agriculture and life.
Mr. Patrick Kuyokwa is the co-founder and CEO of Agricentre, an agricultural enterprise promoting permaculture and sustainable agricultural practices among smallholder farmers in northern Malawi.
Eddie Kago is from Kenya where he leads a team of software engineers to innovate for the agricultural supply chain with blockchain technology. Through his startup, Vibranium ID, he works with the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN) Programme for Capacity Development in Africa (P4CDA).

The World Food Forum (WFF) Africa conducted an Africa Regional Youth Consultation Survey between 14 June and 11 July 2021. The survey had 192 responses from 32 countries and was geared toward providing a space for African youth and youth entities who engage in agriculture and food-related area.
