Outcomes of the discussions at WFF COP27

While we currently produce enough food to feed every man, woman and child in the world, in 2021 there were still up to 828 million people who were hungry.

Young economists, entrepreneurs and change-makers are invited to explore models for infusing economics with ethical values on 15 July 2021 in a 90-minute World Food Forum (WFF) Masterclass on “Integral Ecology,” hosted by the Economy of Francesco (EoF).

Agriculture at COP27 - Gaps and Proposed Actions

The discussions on COP27 during the World Food Forum’s (WFF) Youth Action Assembly revolved around the key themes identified in the YOUNGO Agriculture Working Group document for COP27.

The Pre-Cop event "Harnessing the power of youth for enhanced climate action in the lead up to COP 26" is a joint collaboration between the World Food Forum and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

The event is structured around a “shark tank” format to allow participants to learn and build knowledge on effective children and youth education and empowerment programmes. Behaviour Science experts will examine the education and youth action case studies “pitched” and discuss how these can be improved to create larger impacts and real change in individuals, communities and national actions.
