Welcome to the World Food Forum's Educators Network!

The World Food Forum's Educators Network is a collaborative space for educators to engage with one another on vital issues related to the transformation of our agrifood systems. In the face of global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and food insecurity, educators are pivotal in shaping a sustainable future. The network will support educators with the necessary tools and skills to develop and implement education projects focused on agrifood systems. Educators will be invited to share their projects across the network to foster a community of practice, collaboration, and support.

It will consist of a diverse group of formal and non-formal educators striving for regional, gender, cultural, and religious diversity. Members are invited to interact with each other periodically via online discussion forums, capacity building labs and network meetings, and be given opportunities to co-develop educational resources. Together, let's inspire the next generation to become agents of change in agrifood systems.

Teacher Labs

Teachers' Labs, a vibrant community of practice, where educators explore new horizons in agrifood systems education. This network aims to foster collaboration and ignite partnerships where teaching becomes a journey of discovery in agrifood systems transformations.

Teachers' Labs are interactive training sessions, led by agrifood systems experts in collaboration with leading institutions. Each lab offers a wealth of insights and resources to enhance your teaching practice; from incorporating innovative methodologies into your curriculum, to spearheading community engagement projects, the labs empower educators to shape the future of education.

Forming part of the World Food Forum’s community of practice on education the labs offer educators an opportunity to develop their competencies in areas related to agrifood systems, helping to develop a community of passionate educators. Here, you'll find support, and opportunities for growth and development.

Join us throughout our Teachers' Labs series and discover how you can contribute to the transformation of our agrifood systems. Together, let's redefine the boundaries of education and empower the next generation of learners to become positive agents of change for agrifood systems transformation!
